Issued form · page 5Quality and sub-tier duties
Record quality certificates held. Agree additional quality requirements only for the work they cover.
When this applies
ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100 and AQAP duties are not interchangeable. Certification is not a universal condition of initial registration.

9.1Current certification
What to enter
Select all schemes currently held, or None. For Other, identify the scheme. Give a current certificate or verification reference. If certification is pending, do not describe it as held; explain any relevant limitation in 11.1.
Where to find it / what to do next
- Check the certificate held by your quality lead or certification provider. Confirm the named entity, standard, scope and current status.
- If a copy is missing, request it from the body that issued it. ISO develops standards; certificates are issued by certification bodies.
- If no certification is held, select None. A quality procedure or a planned assessment is not a certificate.
Useful external help
Opens in a new tab so you can keep this question open.
- Understand and verify ISO certification (opens in a new tab)ISO
Explains certification and accreditation, how to identify the issuing body and routes for checking an accredited certificate.
The ISO guide links to certificate-verification routes. If a register does not show the certificate, confirm it with the issuer rather than treating the search result as conclusive.
If more detail is needed
For the relevant work only. These are not extra questions in the initial registration.
Quality requirements for particular work
The addendum or accepted supply contract identifies the relevant standard, edition, quality clauses and acceptance criteria. Evidence may cover certificate scope, the quality plan, traceability, change control, nonconformities, concessions, counterfeit prevention, inspection, calibration and agreed audit or Government Quality Assurance rights.
Ask for exact requirements and supplied documents. A certificate alone does not establish every AQAP or work-specific obligation.
How to use the addendum →Passing requirements to approved sub-tiers
Flowdown means putting the identified obligations relevant to the outsourced work into the sub-tier contract and retaining acceptance and assurance evidence. Obtain required consent before the affected activity. You remain responsible for subcontracted performance.
Do not copy every unseen prime-contract clause or assume a named subcontractor is automatically approved.
How to use the addendum →This guide explains form v2.0. It does not amend the issued requirements or approve work, exceptions or information release. Use the external help to find records and understand the rules. For questions about RCDEN's requirements or the proposed work, use the contact in Section 1.2 and quote the question number.
